Earlier this weekend, on Saturday (26 September) afternoon, a fire broke out at Marechal da Cunha Machado airport, in São Luís – Brazil aboard an airbridge.
The Incident Details
The airport’s airbridge #01 caught fire leading to airport firefighters being called immediately.
According to the source, there were no injuries from the fire. The air bridge will go through expert analysis to determine the reason for the fire.
Due to the incident, the airport was forced to suspend flight operations between 17h and 17h08 a total of merely 8minutes.
